Last week the SUNY Orange Colts finished 3-0 after defeating Rockland County, Hostos Community College and Bronx Community College. 

On Tuesday October 1st it was announced that SUNY Orange's own, Freshman #8 Araceli Ospina was named the Mid-Hudson Conference Female Athlete of the Week for the week of September 23th - September 30th after a stellar three match performance. 

  • 9/24 Against Rockland County Ospina finished 10/29 in Kills, a season high 24 assists and 12 points.
  • 9/28 Against Hostos she tallied 8/24 in kills, 10 assists and 10 points
  • 9/28 Against Bronx she finished 12/22 in kills, 7 assists and 16 points
  • For a grand total of 30 kills, 41 assists and 38 points. 

Araceli Ospina currently leads the team in multiple categories including Kills, Kills per Set, Assists, Assists per Set, Points and Points per Set.
