2024-25 Region XV DII Women's Basketball Awards

To wrap up their 2024-25 regular season, three SUNY Orange Colts found themselves named to this year's Region XV DII Women's Basketball All-Region Teams. 

Freshman Adriana Vazquez and Freshman Olivia Harrison were named to the 2025 Region XV DII Women's Basketball Team. Sophomore Victoria Harrison was named to the 2025 Region XV Women's Basketball Sportsmanship Team.

Freshman Guard Adiana Vazquez had a great freshman campaign.  Adriana led the way for the Colts in points, 3pt shots made, 3pt percentage and is in the team's top three in assists, steals, blocks, 3pt percentage, free throws made and free throw percentage.  Averaging 12.1 Points per game, Vazquez led the Colts with 230 points. 

Freshman Forward Olivia Harrison had a great season as she finished with 196 points scored (3rd on SUNY Orange) and with 9.8 rebounds per game good for 33rd in NJCAA DII Women's Basketball. Olivia recorded seven double-doubles this season while recording a season and career high 16 rebounds against Herkimer College on Nov. 19th and again on Jan 12th against SUNY Niagra.

Sophomore Co-Captain Victoria Harrison was named to the Region XV Sportsmanship Team.  Scoring a season high 24 points on Nov. 19, Victoria is among the top Colts in numerous statistical categories; 1st in steals and assists, 2nd in points, 3rd in rebounds and she finished fourth in blocked shots.

The Colts will take on Sullivan County Community College for the Region XV Championship this Sunday at 12:00 PM EST.
