Colts vs Vikings of Westchester

The Colts are looking to capture their 5th win of the season as they take on the (2-4) Westchester Vikings in a conference matchup.

For the first 10 minutes of the half the game was extremely back and forth as both teams were able to find holes in the defense and capitalize on the opportunities that were given to them. Then the Colts were able to find a rhythm as they were able to get a 12 point lead to close out the half. Defensively there were 15 recorded steals, 5 recorded blocks and 52 rebounds (one short of game high) helping them secure their 5th win as they defeated Westchester by 15 points 75-60

Freshman #2  Mat Shea (Wallkill, NY) was the leading scorer of the game. Shea finished with 13 points and also recorded 12 rebounds as he earned his second double double of the season.

Freshman #14 Marco Evans (Haverstraw, NY) was a huge contributor to the game coming off of the bench as he earned his first double double of the season in just 17 minutes of play. Evans scored 12 points while also recording 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks 

Sophomore #4 Daniel Lans (Spring Valley, NY)) had an overall fantastic performance as he finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals

Freshman #1 Marquis Gill (Middletown, NY) played the most in tonight's game playing a total of 37 minutes. Gill scored 11 points while also recording 3 assists and 2 rebounds.
