Colts vs Queensborough Community College
The SUNY Orange Colts are looking to continue their 2024 success as they are 3-0 through 3 games and they face off against the 6-6 Tigers of Queensborough Community College.
After a commanding first half the Colts looked to completely take over as they were defeating the Tigers 40-23 going into the second half. In the second half the Colts showed zero signs of steping off of the gas as they wererunning up the score with just under 12 minutes left in the second half the Colts have a 30 point lead 63-32 which means the Colts went on a 23-9 run through the first 8 minutes of the second half. This game was a dominant win for the Colts with them outrebounding their opponent by 18 rebounds, earned 16 more assists and stole the ball 13 more times than Queensborough After some stellar team win and a score of 85-53 the Colts move on to 14-4 and this marks their 6th consecutive win.
Freshman, #2 Mat Shea (Wallkill, NY) had the performance of the night. Shea finished with 24 points, also recorded 8 rebounds and dished out 2 assists
Freshman, #1 Marquis Gill (Middletown, NY) had an all around great performance as he finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Sophomore, #4 Daniel Lans (Spring Valley, NY) also had an all round great night as he finished with 15 points, grabbed one rebound, dished out 2 assists and got 5 steals.
