The #2 seeded North Central Missouri College Pirates (31-1) defeated the #15 SUNY Orange Colts (28-5) Tuesday night by a final score of 99-81. The game was close throughout with Orange down five at halftime. During a fast paced second half, Orange trailed by just four points with 8:22 left in the contest before NCMC pulled away to seal the victory. The Pirates will advance to the NJCAA Championship quarterfinals on Thursday vs. #7 Kalamazoo Valley CC. The Colts will play #10 Bryant Stratton College, WI in a consolation match-up Thursday at 2:00. All games are broadcast on NJCAA/TV
For Orange, So. Daniel Lans scored 27 points with five assists, while So. Jabari Phillip totaled 25 points and nine rebounds.
