Colts Sweep the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College

In Game 1 the Colts were able to gain an early lead and were able to maintain it until the end. Scoring thirteen runs in just three innings after a phenomenal 7 runs scored in the third inning alone the Colts pick up their 8th win of the season. A great performance inside of the batter's box for the Colts as they managed to get on base 22 different times, recording 8 total hits three of them being hits for a double and recorded a total 13 RBI's from nine different athletes. Gabriella Olivo (2), Lindsay Keane (2), Caroline Farrell (2), Julia Sorrentino (2), Molly Martin, Dawn Grover, Jaylee Ramos, Gianna Catletti and Nicole Imhoff all recorded an RBI in the game. 

Aside from the great team performance inside the batter's box and on the base path. P Madeline Brennan had a fantastic game on the mound with the help from some great team defense. Pitching a total of five innings Brennan picks up her first win of the season finishing with 6 strikeouts while allowing just 3 hits and walking 3 batters. 

Game 2 was much like the first as the Colts came out in the bottom of the 2nd inning where they found themselves trailing by one run and scored a total of eleven runs in the second inning alone. Once again the Colts were hot inside of the batter's box recording 8 hits and got on base 12 times on walks. In the 8 hits recorded by the Colts there were six different athletes who recorded an RBI. Gianna Catletti (4), Nicole Imhoff (3), Caroline Farrell, Gabriella Olivo, Aryssia Clune, Madeline Brennan. 

P Molly Martin picked up her 4th win of the season pitching just two innings striking out 4 batters while allowing 3 hits, 3 runs and walked 2 batters. P Gianna Catletti came in to close the game pitching the last three innings striking out 6 batters and only allowing 1 run and 1 hit.

With a final score of 15-4 the Colts picked up their 9th win of the season giving them a record of 9-7 on the season.
