Colts vs Raritan Valley Lions
The SUNY Orange Colts will play their last game before the holiday break as they face off against the powerhouse Lions of Raritan Valley who currently have a record of 12 wins and just 2 losses and stand 5-1 in conference play.
In a very back and forth game the Colts were unable to find get themselves out of the hole they were stuck in. Through the first three quarters the Colts found themselves down 45-38 as they are looking to turn the tide and take control of the fourth quarter after playing catch up for the first 30 minutes. Unfortunately the last and final quarter was not in favor for the Colts as they only scored a low of just 5 points in the last quarter to the Lions 16 to increase the Colts deficit and kept the lead for the whole game with a final score of 61-43. This game game down to the last and final quarter in a highly anticipated match up. This game will be the last game the Colts play before a very much needed Holiday break. Their next game will be January, 4th as they are traveling to Sussex County to take on the Skylanders.
Freshman, #10 Jaylen Soltani was the leading scorer of tonight game and earned a performance of the night as she finished with 17 points and also came away with two steal, one assist and one rebound.
Sophomore, #3 Liliana Ramirez finished the game with a wonderful stat line notching 10 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.
Freshman, #23 Victoria Harrison finished the games with 9 points and also came away with 3 rebounds and two steals.
