Colts vs Generals of Herkimer Community College
On Tuesday November 19th the SUNY Orange Colts took on the Gererals of Herkimer Community College in a hard-fought 40 minutes. After the first quarter of the game, the Colts found themselves trailing by a single point as the score stood 12-11. The Colts followed quarter one by improving their total points scoring 15 points in quarter two but was unfortunately not enough to secure a lead going into halftime as the score stood 35-26.
In the second half, the Colts scored a team high in points for one half scoring 32 points in quarters three and four but were unable to come away with the victory losing to the Generals 75-58. Despite the loss, the Colts had two athletes finish with career highs. Sisters Victoria and Olivia Harrison both had career highs in total points scored. Olivia also finished with a career high in rebounds.
Fr. Forward #10 Olivia Harrison finished her stellar night with 15 points scored, grabbing 16 rebounds and also dishing out two assists.
So Guard Victoria Harrison had a career night in points, leading the way with a total of 24 points scored, breaking her previous high of 21. Victoria also added eight rebounds to her night.
So. Center Alexis Aquino finished the game with double digit points, scoring 10 points while coming down with two rebounds and one assist.
This was the last game that the Colts will play in the month of November as their next scheduled game is against the Sharks from Sufffolk County Community College on Thursday December 5th.
