Alumni Day vs the Jamestown Jayhawks

On Saturday Jan. 18th the SUNY Orange Colts took on the Jayhawks from Jamestown Community College apart of this years Alumni Day. After this game the Colts will have just three regular season home games remaining in their season.
To begin this game the Colts were able to get an early turnover earning their first possession of the game. For almost the first seven minutes neither team was able to gain an advantage with Jamestown calling the games first timeout leading 2-0 with 4:15 remaining in the Q1. Olivia Harrison was the first to score for the Colts after a tough contested layup to draw the foul for a chance at a three point play. After a quet first half the score stood 27-15 with the Colts trailing.
In quarter number two both teams were found success scoring the ball with the two teams scoring a combined 31 points with the Jayhawks maintaing their lead going into the halftime break with a score of 27-15.
In the second half both teams continued scoring point any way imaginable with a combined 73 points scored but was the Jayhawks who came out victorious.
With the score of 72-43 the Colts move on to a 3-13 record as they face off against the Falcons of Lackawannna Community College for a non-region contest on Thursday January 23rd at 5:00 PM EST for the Colts second home game in a row.

Fr. Forward #10 Olivia Harrison had a fantastic game earning herself MVP of the game. Finishing the contest with 13 points and 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double in a row and her sixth of the year.
So. Center #44 Alexis Aquino finished the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double double. What was a career night for Alexis as she finished the game going 2/2 from behind the three point line whch is the first three pointer that Alexis has made in her career and the first time finishing with 100% shooting percentage from 3 point range. Alexis also added three blocks to her night being resposible for 75% of the blocks recorded.
So. Guard #23 Victoria Harrison was the third Colt to finish the game with 10 or more points leading the way in made shots shooting 5/17, Olivia also added six rebounds, one assist and two steals to her night.
