Colts vs Falcons of Lackawanna

On Thursday January 23rd the SUNY Orange Colts played host to the Falcons of Lackawanna Community College. To begin this outing the Colts were scoreless for the first four minutes of play, until So. Center #44 Alexis Aquino scored an easy layup coming off a Victoria Harrison assist. SUNY Orange was forced to call their first timeout of the game after trailing 4-12 with just over four minutes left in the game, coming out of the much needed timeout break the Colts managed to cut their deficit to six points outscoring the Falcons 8-6 in the last few minutes of Q1. 

In the second quarter of the game the Colts found themselves getting outscored 21-8, with the score standing at 39-20 the Colts will need to rally back and decrese their deficit with just 20 minutes left to play. 

In the last two quartes of the game Lackawanna would go on to outscore SUNY Orange 62-26 giving the Colts their 14th loss of the year standing at a 3-14 record. The final score was Lackawanna 101 - SUNY ORange 46. 

-Top Performers-

Freshman Guard #35 Adriana Vazquez led the way for the Colts in points after going 7-17 from the field and 1-4 from the free throw line Vazquez finished with 15 points while also adding seven rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Sophomore Guard #23 Victoria Harrison finished the game with 12 points on 3-11 shooting from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line. victoria also added five rebounds, two assists and two steals to her night.

Freshman Forward #10 Olivia Harrison finished as the lead rebounder for the Colts. Olivia finished the game with seven points scored going 1-11 from the field and 5-11 from the free throw line. Olivia also added nine rebounds to her performance.
