Bio

Sabine began her versatile athletic career as a swimmer and basketball player in her middle school years in Suffern, NY where she became captain of her district team her senior year on the swim team. She went on to study here at SUNY Orange where she lifeguarded and taught swim courses but upon her arrival to New York City for her bachelor’s degree, she took up basketball again in the heart of Harlem, NY on the St. Nicholas Park courts. Upon the COVID-19 pandemic, she resumed her post- baccalaureate studies at the college and joined the women’s basketball team under retired Coach, John Lauro. Sabine has also played for recreational basketball leagues such as NYC Basketball League. 

Sabine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Biology from The City College of New York.
