Mid-Hudson Conference Tournament
Yesterday the Suny Orange Colts played in the Mid-Hudson Conference Tournament as they face off against Westchester Community College where if they win they would move on to face the winner of Dutchess vs Ulster for the Mid-Hudson Conference Championship.

The start of the match the Colts went on a dominating run as they were able to acquire the win in the first set winning 25-14. Set number two was a much closer outing as the Colts were able to secure their second set victory as they were able to hold on and win 25-22 before set number three was about to begin. The third set as what could've been the final set for the Colts did not play out as they hoped in what also was a very close and competitive set Westchester was able to secure the win 25-23 as the Colts hopes of a sweep were no longer in reach.
As the Colts lost set number three they decided to officially end things in the fourth set as they won 25-22 getting the 3-1 Victory bringing their record to 10-8 as they faced Dutchess Community College for the third time this season as the Colts look to win their first matchup of the season.
Freshman, #5 Gabriella Dandrade finished the game with 7 kills, 1 assist , 1 service ace, 7 digs, and 3 blocks
Sophomore, #6 Maggie Goodenough finished with 6 kills, 3 assists, 2 service aces and she led the team in digs at 26.
Freshman, #9 Jeanine Sorrentino finished the game by leading her team in kills with 9 kills and was tied with a teammate for most service aces in the match with 6
Freshman, #11 Julia Sorrentino finished by leading the team in assists as she was able to throw up 10 passes for assists.
